LIME BOXES SILVER plated / gilded GOLD

Three extremely rare lime boxes, 19th century or earlier, from the Far East. 

Material:

Silver plated, gilded on top, embossed with floral and other motifs.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 5,2 cm.

Height: 5,5 cm. 

Provenance:

From a Dutch collector, who bought them in Indonesia in the 70's, directly from a (now deseased) private collector from Makassar with a huge collection.
