A rare dayak storage container from Sarawak / West Borneo, early 1900's or older.
The container shows nice old patina and signs of use.
The bamboo tube shows nicely detailed floral carvings and other motifs (tumpals and stripes), filled with red dye.
The wooden lid also has traces of red dye.
