A necklace worn by Nias headhunters, 19th century, Nias, no restorations.
The necklace is made from 120 slices made of coconutshell, and in the front a brass piece / Beautifull old patina all over / 22 cm diameter.
Additional Information:
According Dr. Helmkampf, these kalabubus were only provided after taken two heads.
Condition: Mint condition, no missing or replaced rings.
