GOBANG

Rare Gobang from the Preanger area in Java, early 1800's.

The only one known with brass inlay at the blade.

Complete with some minor restores (ask for condition report).

Handle: Dark horn with silver ferrule (15 cm).

Blade: Heavy and very nice laminated blade with rare brass inlay at the back (1,1 cm thick), false edge and stabbing point (56 cm).

Scabbard: Wood wounded with rattan, silver mouth- and endpiece.

Total length: 74,5 cm.
