ILLANUN KAMPILAN       

Very old and interesting kampilan from the Illanun tribes.

This kampilan is of the Borneo type.

This piece is unrestored and uncleaned (also the blade).

Handle: Wooden pommel, handle (with dyed fiber) and small elegant crosspiece. (25 cm total length).

Still the original human hairtufts attached with wooden pegs in the holes.

Blade: uncleaned and 63,5 cm long, with sharp protrusion above the point.

Total length: 89 cm
