A piha kaetta, Ceylon, 18th century.
Hilt:
Black coral or amber hilt with very dark (almost black) patina with silver fittings.
Scabbard:
Wooden scabbard, with a casing of silver at the upper half.
Blade:
Sturdy blade, decorated immense with gold, suassa(?), copper and silver.
Additional info: The piece shows a lovely patina all over and is very old, and untouched (unrestored), as can be seen in the photos.
