GOBANG

Rare Gobang from the Preanger area in Java, early 1800's.

Handle: Bone handle, which is very rare! (14 cm).

Blade: Heavy blade, length 60 cm, in elegant shape and very sharp.

The blade is decorated with floral motifs on both sides of the blade along the fullers till the point.

The spine has a rim, decorated with 10 crosses (double 5), and is 11 mm thick near the handle/

Scabbard: No scabbard

Total length: 74 cm.
