KERIS PANJANG

A very old keris panjang, Gayo features, North Sumatra, 19th century

Total length:  65 cm

Hilt:

Elephant ivory hulu with beautifull worn old glossy dark patina /

Two (stable and not working) filled cracks / silver pendokok and selut.

Scabbard:

Horn warangka with old dark glossy patina / wooden gandar with silver 6 small bands and a on top and bottom two silver sleeves with floral ornamentations. 

Blade:

Uncleaned condition / 49,5 cm long.
