Old and very rare Javanese sword from the Badoei (who lived in the almost impenetrable forests of the Kendeng Mountains in Bantam).
Total length: 65 cm
Handle:
Wood / Old glossy patina and minor rests of old lacquer / Small restoration (not in the carved part of the hilt).
Scabbard:
No scabbard
Blade:
Very strong thick blade / Length 54 cm / 10 mm thick at the spine near the handle / Uncleaned condition.
Additional Info:
These swords from this area are very, very rare and unseen in private collections as far as we know.
