A sikin peusangan from Aceh, with ivory crosspiece and silver bands on the scabbard, 19th century.

Hilt:
Horn hulu peusangan type /length: 13 cm, wide: 7,5 cm / decorated with the typicall carvings, worn of freaquent use / one crack (stable and not working)
Scabbard:
Two slabs of wood / glossy old darkbrown patina / silver bands /
At the scabbardmouth there is a big elephant ivory cross piece with a small repair / Decorations are filled with black mastic. (length: 14,5 cm, height: 5 cm, thick: 3,5 cm).
Blade:
Strong blade / Length 60,5 cm till the bolster / 9mm thick at the spine near the base.
