Hilt:
Dark horn with beautifully worn carvings and patina / rattan and fiber wrapping / 17,5 cm long.
Blade:
Fine laminated blade / 51 cm long / 7 mm thick at the base.
Scabbard:
Wood, wrapped in rattan / original horn endpiece / 53 cm long

Additional info:
The "dua lalan" was used both in time of war and for the ceremonial slaughtering of buffaloes.
The hilt may resemble a hornbill's head.
