Super Heavy Amanremu, northern Sumatran (Gayo/Alas area), 19th century.

Total length: 72 cm.

Hilt:

Horn hilt / Hulu Babah Buya type of hilt / Beautifull carvings / regular crack (filled with black wax).

Blade:

Hefty thick laminated blade / 50.5 cm / 10 mm thick.

Sheath:

Original wooden scabbard / Two cracks near the scabbardmouth because of the thick blade.

ex-Belgium / Dutch private collection.

Condition:

Excellent condition as shown in the pictures.
