A cute small kalasan knife, Sumatra (Batak), 19th century.

Total length: 41,5 cm

Hilt:

Sukul jering shape / Horn / Gold-suassa alloy(?) ferrule.

Scabbard:

Dark wood in silver dress.

Blade:

Sturdy blade / 31,5 cm long.

Provenance:

Dutch private collection.

Condition:

Very good condition / few losses at the ferrule and a minor chip of silver missing at the tip of the scabbard
