Keris, Sumatra, mid 19th century.
Total length: 38 cm.
Hilt:
Wooden Jawa demam hilt with some old cracks (not working) / Silver cup.
Blade:
Lovely sturdy blade with strong lines.
Sheath:
Wooden wrangka and silver pendok / Small damage at the lower part of the silver (at the backside) / Lower half covered with alternate bands of very fine silver and rattan .
Condition:
As seen on photos, Very good and handsome rare old keris.
