Hilt:
Wooden hilt / Bi-coloured braided rattan in perfect condition / Brass sleeve with good dark glossy patina of use / One protrusion missing.
Blade:
Sturdy sharp laminated blade (clearly visible) in mint condition.
Sheath:
Wooden sheath / Scabbard mouth with Murut design, in perfect condition, / 4 metal bands of which three of them are covered with old tin foil) / Sideknifescabbard from (animal?) skin(sideknife missing) / Decorated with tufts of braided human hair (Murut style) / Scabbard tip broken.
Additional Info:
Though the scabbard tip is broken, and one protrusion is missing from the hilt, it is a very attractive and collectable sword for a very decent price, with beautiful laminated blade and as bonus the braided human hair at the sideknifescabbard tip.
